In 1947, the first black man was allowed to play. With the entry of Jackie Robinson to the Brooklyn Dodgers, it was possible to fight against society’s intolerance and more black men were able to enter the leagues.
American Football
It’s a derivative of English soccer and rugby. Its origin dates back to the end of the 19th century. Walter Camp created his own rules different from rugby, such as allowing forward passes. He also created the first university leagues, which spread throughout the country leading to the creation of the NFL at the beginning of the 20th century.

It’s originally from the USA. It was born in Massachusetts due to the need to practice a sport indoors because of the harsh winter of the city. James Naismith invented some boxes hung on railings in which a ball had to be thrown. He designed several rules that evolved over the years until what is known today.
It was so popular that it’s known as one of the great disciplines in the history of sport in the USA. American soldiers introduced basketball in the European continent, and it was declared an Olympic sport in Berlin in 1936.
The NBA is considered one of the best sports leagues in the world and has millions of followers around the world.
